Google aquired You tube....can they aquire You.
Google has always been big... but the giant keeps on growing. Do we have anything to fear?
I heard that google is developing cellphone software. This is apparently true. This is supposed to happen in the near future by end of 2008 according to this source. If it is true, than Where is google headed with this? Besides being a major threat to threat to other mobile operating systems made by Microsoft Corp.- Research In Motion Ltd - Palm Inc. and Symbian, which is owned by Nokia Corp. To me - It somehow seems like a threat to the public too. Can you imagine what this software may be capable of? Imagine a little google chip right by your mouth and ear...everything you say or hear can most likely be tracked and collected by the software...and legaly too, I presume. We will probably have to sign something saying that we agree to terms of use of google cellphone software. In other words selling ourselves to google. Turning your very own words into a targeted marketing plan for global advertisers - so now you can recieve "targeted ads" like never before. You mention the word "shoes" to your friend on the phone and within 5 minutes you get an sms advertisement about the "nike shoe sale" at a store near you.
Its just a theory - but its a little creepy to me.
