Iphone 3.1 fixes SMS exploit, compatible with redsn0w
An SMS hack was recently discovered for the IPHONE. The exploit uses text messaging to compromise the Iphone.
Iphone firmware 3.0.1 fixes the exploit.
If your phone is Jailbroken/Unlocked, you can update the firmware using Itunes, then rerun redsn0w pointing at the 3.0 firmware .ipsw file. You can then unlock the phone again. Although you are jailbreaking with the 3.0 firmware, the exploit fix will remain installed.
