PROFILE-PLUS. If You Can’t Sell Them Knowledge, You Won’t Sell Them Real Estate

In a comprehensive survey conducted by the National Association of Realtors in the United States, it was found that 87% of recent home buyers used the internet as an information resource during their home-buying process.

Few relied on ‘For Sale’ posters, magazines, newspapers, television and radio.

Of buyers who used the internet, 85% worked in conjunction with Real Estate Agents, as their input was invaluable for the accumulation of knowledge.

Part of the study also revealed 84% of purchasers in their search for Real Estate Brokers claimed the information on the internet was poorly displayed with an absence of local information and outdated market data.

As our society moves away from an industrialized economy into an information-based economy, the nature of selling has also changed.

For first-home buyers the purchase of a home or an apartment is often the biggest decision in a lifetime and the old-fashioned method of just Buy and Sell is passe.

An old Russian proverb says there are two fools for every market. One who asks too little, one who asks too much.

Long gone is the Oriental market approach of buying and selling Real Estate. Nobody is prepared to simply settle on bargaining. If you can’t sell them knowledge, you won’t sell them Real Estate.

A fine example of a convincing and modern approach to Real Estate Brokerage is the website of Nadlan Town. Not only expertly designed, but full of vital information a would-be purchaser needs.

In addition, the blog offers current news about real estate and building trends, interest rates and other useful financial indicators.

This is what a knowledge-based website is all about. Not just facts, but more facts and even more facts.
