My Joomla experience began last year with work on the English version of the Puah Institute website (which was designed by someone else). I was contracted to:
Beef up the Recipe section of their website – which broke down into categories, created a blog feed, and then solicited recipes and stories from famous chefs
When those projects were completed, I began marketing and fundraising efforts (which I continue to do today) of promoting their fundraising Events through social media campaigns through:
Creating content and layout for their monthly e-newsletters and fundraising campaigns
PUAH Institute, established in 1990, has helped thousands of couples suffering from infertility through the process of building a family. Staff members have an extensive breadth of knowledge enabling PUAH Institute to handle everything from complicated medical inquiries to relevant halachic questions. Couples receive the benefit of PUAH Institute’s expertise in a private and compassionate environment conducive to their needs. Professional expertise is also available to the general public through a wide variety of lectures, seminars and training courses. Participants at these sessions include rabbis, physicians, healthcare providers and couples, all of whom share the common goal of raising awareness about reproductive health issues at both the social and medical levels.
CyberSem‘s site was launched recently. I built the site on a server-installed WordPress platform using The Thesis Theme for WordPress for flexibiliy of design customization and search engine optimization. Utilizing plug-ins and scripts, I was able to meet the client’s specifications for features and functionality:
A site allowing content can be managed by a non-technical person (including a table on the home page fed by a database).
Clean and simple design complimenting logo
Creation of graphics for visual description of the institution through slide show

CyberSem strives to create a warm and student-focused learning experience fostering group dynamics and critical thinking guided by seasoned teachers who are experts in their field. Last fall I began a project for a new hi-tech start-up company with an innovative product – Navoto GSM Gateway.
