Shayna Kulman-Lipsey , the director of Life Solutions, is a mental health professional with over 30 years of experience. She obtained a Masters in Social Work degree from the University of Toronto and has done additional training in Marital and Family Therapy, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy, and Suicide Alertness and Intervention. She is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy as well as a Master Trainer in ASIST-Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training. In Canada and Australia she trained professionals and community participants as well as Toronto Transit Employees in suicide alertness and intervention. This program developed by LivingWorks Canada has been translated into several languages and is used worldwide.
