The ULTIMATE Business Branding and Marketing Tool, Complete with…Roller-Coasters and Souvenir Shop!?!
.
Nothing, I repeat NOTHING, says your business and brand have arrived more than the establishment of your company’s very own AMUSEMENT THEME-PARK!
.
I am the founder, owner and only employee of Executive Penmanship, a one-person, freelance-writing business. With dreams of my business growing into a mega-huge, capitalist-behemoth, international conglomerate of resumes, corporate bios, websites and speech-writing, to name but a few of the services, I am, at this very moment, designing my very own company amusement park!
.
Fortunately, I don’t have to start from scratch. Anyone planning such a venture can model their own amusement park after one in existence for more than a century. Yes, it’s the ultimate advertising and marketing tool from the chocolate purveyor that all the world loves and adores!

HersheyPark:
One of the many great things about growing up in Eastern Pennsylvania was HersheyPark, located in Hershey, Pennsylvania! It’s an awesome amusement park with over 60 rides and attractions, nestled on 110 acres of beautiful Keystone State land.
It’s a wonderful place to spend the day, replete with amusement park, Hershey’s Chocolate World, a Visitor Center which contains shops and restaurants, a zoo and the nearby Hershey’s Chocolate Factory, also open to tours.
.
In 1903, Hershey Chocolate Company founder, Milton S. Hershey, began surveying the local area for a site suitable for the fulfillment of his dream…a leisure park for company workers. An area in Spring Creek was chosen. Work on the park began soon thereafter.
On April 24, 1907, the park opened. The entrance sign proudly proclaimed: “Ye who enter here leave dull cares behind.”

.
Several years later, amid great fanfare and wild excitement, the park was opened to the general public. It was an instant-hit!
Today, the park, which attracts 2.4 million visitors annually, is a far cry from anything which the original employees and visitors could possibly have imagined in the early 20th Century. Huge, ultra-modern roller-coasters, giant ferris wheels, carousels, a water park, boardwalk, arcades and themed areas as diverse as Rhineland, Tudor Park, Comet Hollow and an old-style Mining Town.

I wonder, were he alive today, if good old Milton Hershey (1857-1945) would be willing to get on the park’s ultimate roller-coaster, Fahrenheit:

.
Yes it’s an Amusement Park, the ULTIMATE symbol that a business has arrived! It’s the incomparable, unsurpassable, preeminent, emphatic marketing tool!

MY Vision & Dream: “Executive-PenmanshipPark”:
.
To the folks at Hershey, I state the following emphatically: Enjoy your fame, notoriety, fanfare and accolades while they last! You will soon have a competitor! Yup, as I mentioned, this starry-eyed writer is currently hard at work choosing a plot of land for his very own theme-park.
.
Opening day is scheduled for July 1, 2015. At that time the public will be able to enjoy such excellent attractions as “The Resume Roller-Coaster,” “Grammar-Land,” “Punctuation Village,” “Manuscript Mountain,” BIC (a giant pen-shaped, 90-meter parachute drop), a Disney-style mono-rail…
.
…there will be restaurants, games, live entertainment and attractions for the entire family! And there will be a gift shop with souveniers, and corporate gift ideas so you can share and remember the joys of your experience for many years to come! All for the incredibly low-priced admission cost of $15!

Actually…sorry. I didn’t intend to insult your intelligence Dear Reader as I drifted off in my daydream. I am, after all, a struggling freelance writer on a very tight budget.
.
I’ll aim for and aspire to a theme-park to market and brand my small business. But for now, my resources are limited. In the meantime, should you stop by for a visit, I’ll give you a tour of my office and backyard, make you a piping-hot cup of coffee, and as a bonus, I’ll let you pet my dog…
.
.
But alas, like all visionaries, my vision of my own theme-park will live on and I will remain stubborn and steadfast…
.
Keep informed folks as work continues toward the realization of one humble writer’s dream!
